How we look after your details.
David & Callum Mercer trading as Goyt Valley Landscapes & Paving, Yard 7, Newby Road Industrial Estate, Hazel Grove, Stockport, SK7 5DA, is responsible for the personal details you give us.
What we collect
When you book a survey on this website or ring us, we take your name, phone number, postcode and a short description of the job (for example the type of patio or driveway and roughly how big it is).
Why we use it
We use these details only to contact you about your enquiry, arrange your survey, send your written quote and, if you go ahead, carry out and guarantee the work. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and then performing that contract.
Who sees it
David and Callum Mercer, and the reception service that answers our phone when we are on site. Website enquiries are passed to us by a form-handling service that delivers them to our inbox. We never sell your details or use them for marketing lists.
How long we keep it
If you don’t go ahead, we delete your enquiry within 12 months. If we do the work, we keep job records for as long as the written guarantee runs plus six years, for accounting and guarantee purposes.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details we hold about you, or object to how we use them. Ring us on 0161 570 8698 or write to us at the yard address above. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
